Hi M.
In Calabasas, in the Gelsons shopping center, there is a yoga studio that had a yoga class for kids and moms on Friday evenings. You'll have to call to see if they still offer it.
All the best

Hi Moms. I'm new to mamasource and love it! I'm trying to find a yoga class for me and my 10yr old and I'm not having much luck. I'm a working mom and most of the classes I can find are during the day on weekdays. Does anyone know of any yoga classes aroung Woodland Hills, West Hills, Canoga Park area that are in the evenings and are a parent and me class? My 10 yr old is really mellow and really wants to do yoga. I'm trying to find something for us to do together that's both fun and good for our bodies. I'm trying to get in shape but I'm not willing to give up my time with my kids, so I thought I would try to do it all at once. Thank you mom's for any help you can give.
Hi Moms. Thank you all so much for all the responses. I found a class that my daughter and I can attend together thanks to your refferals. I am so excited about this. I'm so lucky to have all you mom's here for support. Thank you again!!!

Hi M.,
There is a low-key family yoga class held on Sunday mornings in Tarzana. It's on Ventura Blvd. near Reseda Blvd. I think they have weeknight evening classes too.
Here's the website to where the classes are held:
http://www.tarzanaaikikai.com/ and their phone number is ###-###-####
P.S. Across the street is Madeline Bistro, a nice restaurant my Daughter & I have enjoyed after class.
hi, my company, mini yogis yoga for kids, offers classes all over los angeles and the valley. you can check us out online at www.miniyogis.com for more info.
we have a sunday afternoon class at 400pm in santa monica (i know it's not the valley, but other valley people come, as traffic isn't bad at that time), if your interested. or you can join in with another group...or start up your own.
the classes are a ton of fun and you will really learn a lot. :)
namaste,

Try Yoga Desa in Topanga. It's not far from Woodland Hills, and though they don't have Parent-and-Me classes per se, I've seen kids as young as 6 or 7 taking classes with a parent, especially the "Easy Does It" class. Great teachers, great space, usually not too crowded.

Hi M.,
check out Revive with Heather! She has some wonderful classes:

See you there!

Many yoga studios seem really flexible, and if your daughter was well-behaved, they might let her participate in any class at night that you were available to attend. You might want to check with the particular studio.
I took a wonderful Hatha yoga course through the Pierce College extentions program when I lived in your area. (now that I'm in San Fernando, it's just too far to trek)
The class is taught by Chris Bannister and I believe it's still on Thursday nights from 6 - 8. It would be great for you and your daughter to take. I always left the class relaxed and thoroughly stretched!
Check out www.EducationAndEnrichment.com. You can search for Yoga and you'll find about 5 different resources in that category alone. Good Luck!
