I use Roxio. It's an older version, but I like it. Windows comes with a movie editing program that works okay. I don't don't do a lot of editing, so I can get by with that most of the time.
Do any of you know of a good, easy to use movie dvd maker. I have a program but its not the best. I like to hear your experiences with some other programs so i can make a wise choice of which to buy. I do this alot for gifts so I would like something that works. Thanks in advance

I use Windows Movie Maker (free with MS Office) to edit my own home movies. I add music too. It's pretty easy to use.
I too use the Windows Movie Maker. I recently created a video of my 6 yr's baseball team using this program. My main and most important suggestion would be to limit your clips to no more than 5 minutes or just the length of one song. In my first use of the program, I put together a 16 minute "movie". But could not figure out why it was crashing and slowind down on my constantly. I was thinking that my computer just did not have enough memory space. After several, and I mean several attempts the movie was just the best bc I broke the complete down to 3 shorter versions of the same. I'm making one for my mil for xmas. A.
I use Pinnacle Studio and love it.
