I have a few books and was hoping Usborne still offered to replace your books at half price for a new copy. If anyone knows of a rep in DePere (not Green Bay if possible), please let me know!!

I have had experience with the papoose board in the ER and as a nurse and a mother of a child with a serious health condition I would strongly encourage you to try sedation instead. I understand none of us want to use drugs on our children unless necessary but I believe it is much safer and less traumatic for a child to be groggy and relaxed then to be traumatized by being strapped down by strangers. Ask about a nitrous treatment which is frequently used in children's hospitals to start IV's.
I am an Usborne rep, but not in your area. First, check the back of the book. Most reps put a sticker on for just such occasions! If you don't have a sticker, you can go to the Usborne website and search for reps in your area - http://www.ubah.com - Usborne still does the half-price replacement, provided the books are from Usborne directly. Scholastic sells some of their titles, too, but the quality is not the same, and the guarantee does not apply. Good luck - glad you love the books! :)

If your Usborne book has suffered wear and tear and you would like it
replaced, we have a half price replacement policy on our books.
Please mail the original book back to us at: EDC Publishing, 10302 East

Please include a note with the title of the book you are returning for
replacement and your name, shipping address and phone number in case we need
to contact you. We will replace the book at half of its current retail
price, plus $5.00 for shipping, plus tax applicable to your area.
If the item returned is no longer published, we may exchange it for
something of similar value. If you have a question about a particular title
still being available, you may call us from Monday through Friday between
the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, CST at 800-475-4522.
Please enclose a check or money order for the amount due, or ask us to call
you for your credit card number, and we will do so, at the time we process

I just purchased some Usborne books at a book fair this week. You can do a zip code search for a rep at www.ubah.com. They will replace lost or damaged books for 1/2 price as long as the book is still in print. Good luck.
