I am wondering if anybody knows of a good music and movement class for toddlers here in Louisville? Also, any art classes for toddlers.

Gymboree is fun--it is located on shelbyville road in St. Matthews, you can take a free trial class to see if you like it. You may also want to look into Musical Milestones (I believe you can look them up at www.musicalmilestones.info).
Good luck!
I enjoy taking my son to Art Sparks at the Speed Art Museum at UofL. It has a lot of hands on art activities for kids of all ages and a room for kids under age five for more toddler appropriate activities. It is $5 a person unless you have a membership to the museum. I have also heard about some good music classes at a shop on Bardstown Rd but I have never been. I have tried the Gymboree classes in St. Matthews and my son did enjoy them but I didn't feel was getting enough out of them to justify the cost. He learned just as much by attending the story hour at our local library.
My son did gymboree in st. matthews...it was a bit expensive if I remember. Also, there's a little gym by meijers on Hurstbourne...not sure what all they do...have yet to check it out!
Musikgarten classes are offered for babies through age 7 at Notable Beginnings Music School in the Highlands. www.musikgartenlouisville.com
My daughter use to go to Gymboree Play and Music on Shelbyville Road. She went from 4 months to 3 yrs. They allow you to do a preview class free of charge just to make sure you want to enroll your child. My daughter and I both enjoyed going to Gymboree.
I highly recommend the Music Together classes. My daughter and I did them when she was younger and they were so much fun. The teacher, Miriam Klein, is wonderful. They have several locations and times. Their web site is http://www.heartlandmusictogether.com/.
