Check out the Dining section .. elegant afternoon tea at the Grand Lobby's Swan's Court or a unique atmosphere at Finale Desserterie.
My mother in law and I started a tradition in GA 7 years ago that when she comes to visit me (she's from TN) we go to the local tea room for lunch and tea and it has now become something special to do with the grandaughters. Since I'm really new to this area I have no clue where one is and she's coming visit within the next two weeks. Do y'all know of any around here?

My daughters along with the Godmothers and I are going to the Four Seasons Hotel in December for their holiday Teddy Bear tea (proceeds go to Childrens Hospital Boston). Tickets go on sale in September.
In the meantime here is a site I like for tea rooms:
Enjoy your beautiful tradition and welcome to New England!

There's a place in Northboro right near Routes 135 and 20 - it's called Special Teas. I haven't been there but I have a friend who used to work there. You could call them and see what they offer, what the decor/atmosphere is, etc.
There is one in warwick - Ferns and Flowers. Hope you ahve fun.
Fern's House & Flowers in Warwick is very nice.
I have been there a few times. The first time with a group of friends for dinner & the second time with my maid of honor & bridesmaid. There is a gift shop & bakery there as well. Call for more info because reservations are often required.
