Seeking Summer Babysitter

I have considered all of the various ways I can take care of my childcare situation this summer, and I think I will try the babysitter avenue. I am looking for someone to watch my children, who will be 4 and almost 3, Monday - Friday 6 hours a day during the summer. I would prefer someone like a college student or similar, because I will need someone to watch them in my home while I work in my office. I have had offers in the past of people who wanted to bring their own children along with them, and I really prefer not to have that situation because my house is not very big, and my children will not need the added stress of having to share their toys with a strange child while getting used to a new babysitter. Also, I would want the babysitter to focus solely on my children, which would be impossible if they brought their own along. Thanks in advance for any advice you can give me. I live in The Colony.

What can I do next?

Your best best may be to find a college student. I think you can post an ad at CCCC Campus. They have a great early childcare program. It might be the perfect summer job for someone wanting to earn a little extra money. Good luck!

try sittercity.com
I'm looking for reliable help too and I've been very happy with the type of people listed there. Plus they have referrals and sometimes background checks. If they don't already have a background check you can request one for a very small amount of money.
Good luck.

You might want to try mom's best friend which is a nanny/babysitter agency that I work which are screened very well. They have their own website.
You can also put an ad out on craigslist.org

Good Luck and I hope this helps.
