Does anyone have a good housekeeper they can recommend? I don't want to go through a housecleaning company as I have heard they charge a fortune. I am seriously considering getting someone every other week to help keep up with the housework as it seems like I spend all my days off/weekends cleaning and don't want to take so much time away from my kids.

I have had someone very trustworthy and reliable for the last 10 plus yrs. and it's a great blessing. She lives North of Rochester Hills and may have an opening. Where do you live? If you live in her area I can give you her number. With the gas prices being up she no longer takes new clients that live too far from her residence.

I have friends that come and clean my house about once a month. They charge reasonable rates. They live in Warren. What they do for me is clean the bedrooms, living room, kitchen, and bathroom. Now they don't do windows or dishes or anything like that...but they may for an extra fee. They dust, mop, scrub, vacuum, clean counters and appliances (on the outside...will do inside for extra). If you would like their number let me know. I can't tell you what they would charge you because I don't know...but it can't hurt to find out.
