Hello ladies!

I have a 12 month old son who has recently been given the ok to start on all table foods. So far we have had great luck with the graduate foods such as the diced fruits, veggies and the meat sticks. We also have tried the crackers which he seems to really enjoy. My delimma is that I have been having a really hard time coming up with some other ideas for foods that I can give him for snacks/lunches. Can anyone give me some ideas on what to start introducing to him?
FYI...he has only seven teeth. Four on the top and three on the bottom, all in the front.

Thank you in advance,
S.

I asked the same question months ago. Here is a lady's website for ideas that she gave me.

http://www.missbrenda.com

As of what I feed my 17 month old: Cheese, crackers, tomatoes, diced fruit, diced carrots, peas, green beans (when she will eat them :-)) Tomatoes, deli sliced lunch meat, Hard boiled eggs, Scrambled eggs, sliced bread, cheerios, gold fish crackers, Oatmeal.

I also make meals that she can eat such as Rotini Pasta and I add Stage 2 Carrots or Sweet Potatoes with Corn, add some Spaggetti sauce and a small can of mixed veggies. Mac n cheese (single serv.) She will also eat Meat Loaf. She likes Tuna salad.

Gerber Graduates are great...she loves the meals and the pasta pick ups.

Hope this helps

Same thing you eat,,only cut up in tiny-tiny pieces. No honey until he's 2/3, and I think the same thing about seafood, you have to wait until they are 2 for that also.

We love Sheppard's pie (ground meat- turkey or beef, frozen veggies, and mashed potatoes); grilled chicken w/ rice or mashed potatoes; turkey hotdogs, veggy burgers, cut up sandwhich meat and wheat bread; spinach nuggets (like chicken nuggets but w/o the chicken- in Kroger, its in the natural refrigerated section- between yogurts and salad bags); chicken nuggets are a hit too.
For veggies and fruit- i do everything fresh- pears (really soft so i just cut them up), cut up grapes; apples (usually steam those for a min in the microwave). Steamed carrots. We go through frozen veggy like water. At kroger, they are usually $1.

I have a cookbook called 1-2-3 Cook For Me. It has month to month meal ideas and recipes. It was a great reference when I struggled to figure out what to fix my son. Each recipe is also picture labled for infant, toddler, adult or all.
