Seeking Small Christian Family Church in N.Las Vegas

Hello. My name is L.. I have been married for coming up on 7 years this August. I have a son (2) and a daughter (1).

I don't know where you live but I go to Canyon Ridge Christian Church. It's a wonderful church and it feels like home to me. It is big but they have a lot of things there that you can get more involved with. I love it. It's on the corner of Lone Mountain & Jones. 6200 W. Lone Mountain Road, Las Vegas, 89130 They have a website too. www.canyonridge.org

I live off of Hualapai & Alexander. I have moved a little farther from the church but by like 3 miles or so. But it's a great church. The only one I have found that felt like home since I have been in this state. I moved here 4 1/2 years ago from Southern California.

Just wanted to let you know about my church. It's called New Creation. We're in the Alliante area. the website is www.newcreationministrieslv.org We're currently meeting out of a high school until we can raise money to build our own church. I read your email request and I have been in Las Vegas for 13+ years now. I was baptised and "Saved" by a small Christian Church in the Northwest side of town (95 North towards Mt Charleston). They have been around about 8 years now and it was called Roots (or something like that)--I am not able to attend anymore for non-important reasons..but it is on Rancho south of Craig Road (in the shopping center by the UMC Quick Care).

Let me know if this works or not. Otherwise, depending on where you live in town I can ask around my office/friends to see if anyone has any other suggestions.

We moved here from SC 2 years ago where we attended a very small church. We've been attending Grace Point which is held inside Brian Cram Middle School at 9:30 and 11:15 on Sunday morning. The church has grown significantly, but they have small groups that meet weekly for 3 months, then have an "off month." They have a great kids program & nursery.

I am a Christian too and we absolutely love the Crossings on Warm Springs and Durango/Buffalo - it may be a ways out of your way but it is so worth it!! They are so awesome and from what I can see, have a great sunday school for the kids. We absolutely love the pastors sermons. I think it has been the best church we have found here in Las Vegas, and we have been to quite a few!! Good Luck in finding a church - but I truly do recommend this one. It's the best!!!

We go to a great Baptist church - Nellis Baptist on the corner of Las Vegas Blvd and Nellis in North Las Vegas. They have a great Sunday school program - held at 9:45 a.m. every Sunday and they also have services on Sunday at 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. and Wednesday nights as well. This church is very involved in the community and the pastor and his family is a true blessing to the community. Good luck in your search and we'd love to see you this Sunday!
