We used Steve Erickson at Dakota Valley Psychologist a few years ago and he really helped us get our act together.

Hi there - Has anyone seen a marriage counselor/therapist that they feel was very beneficial? My husband and I would like to see someone but would rather get a referral than pick one at random. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

John Gessner in Burnsville. He is wonderful and is under many insurance plans. Please let me know if you have any specific questions
Carol Lange on Raymond Ave. in St. Paul.
My husband and I saw Tina Watson Wiens at Meta Resources ###-###-####) they are located in St Paul.
She was really great, I highly recommend her! She was referred to me by my best friend and I know a few other people in our network of friends who have gone to see her too. She has years of experience (I think at least 15) and specializes in marriage and family counsiling.
Good Luck!!
Side note: My husband also thought she was great. He felt very confortable even though she is a woman (some men might find it harder to talk about problems to a woman) all the other husbands that I know loved her too!!
We went to Burnsville Counseling and Healing Center. Sorry I can't remember who our counselor was. I thought it was benefitial. DH didn't get as much out of it as I did but we are doing well right now :)
