Hello all. Just wanted to know if there were any moms out in my area who has a child around my sons age and were interested n a play date at a local park. Although he merely engages in side by side play, he loves other children.
Hi. I just moved to Oxnard (Channel Islands) so I dont know anyone. I have a 4 1/2 year old and 1 1/2 year old. Would love to meet other moms and have my kids get to play with other children. My husband works full time and goes to school to its just me and the kids all day and night most days and it gets pretty lonely. Let me know if anyone wants to get together. -A.
I would love to get together. I have a 5 y/o, 2 y/o, and a 15 month old. I live in Newbury Park though. Have you looked for MoMs Clubs. I know that is what saved me when my son was born 5 years ago. I was very lucky in that my hospital roommate was in a mom's club and she told me all about hers and I joined the day I got out of the hospital. I love my Mom's Club. I do not know what I would do with out it. My best friends now are mothers I have met in my mom's club. I also recommend if you go to one playgroup and you don't like it either find another group or find another mom's club because it is well worth it. Let me know if you want to get together.
