My son is 2 1/2 and has just finished with preschool for the summer. I just had a little girl on May 4th. My father-in-law watches my son (will go back to work in six weeks). We have a great playset - let me know if you'd like to come play.
I have recently started staying home with my 31/2 year old little girl. We are looking for a playgroup in the area to join.

There are lots of us who meet at different parks here in Kennesaw. The new one, Swift Cantrell on North Main Street seems to be very popular now. Any nice days and we head there. Send me your email and I'll drop you a note if we are headed that way - ____@____.com all have different age groups but most have kids under 4 so your daughter should find lots of new playmates.

Have you tried Mom's Club? Their website is www.momsclub.com. I've been a member for awhile and it's a great way to meet other moms and kids.
If that isn't an option for any reason, try talking with other moms at indoor play areas or parks.
Hi L.! I am a 35 year old SAHM of two girls ages 2 1/2 and almost 5 (in May). We just moved to Woodstock 7 months ago from Minnesota. My girls LOVE to play dress up, tea party and well, pretty much anything. Contact me if you'd like to get together. :)
If we could get up some interest from local moms on this website, I would be interested in starting a playgroup. I am in the Marietta area. I am fairly new to the area, and I know my daughter would like to get out and meet new friends as much as I would. If some people are interested, maybe we could set up a date and place next week to meet and play.
L. M, My daughter recommends the website: Mom's Club International for that area.

I belong to great playgroup called Cobb Moms. You can go to www.meetup.com to find it. We have a busy calendar full of things to do. There is something for everyone! Good luck!

check out the MOMS Club for your area. It is for stay at home mothers or those who work part time. They meet during the day and have playdates and playgroups for kids.
www.momsclub.org is the site
I am the promotions manager for Northwest Atlanta Mommies, so let me tell you a little about our group. I joined NWAM in July 2007. I LOVE IT!! It has saved my life!!!
As part of The Mommies Network, NWAtlantaMommies.com is a free community for moms in Bartow, Cherokee, Paulding and Western Cobb Counties. We realize that all moms need local support, because many have no family here, or all their friends are single with no kids -- and who can't use another friend? NWAtlantaMommies.com offers a simple way to connect with local moms for friendship, support and fun. Members meet on our private discussion forums to share information on everything from where to get the best haircut to tips on transitioning to a "big kid" bed. Each month, we also offer many face-to-face events for our members, their children and their families. Register today to access our discussion forums, events calendar and more! It's free and we'll keep your info secure and private.
Let me know when you join the site. My screen name is Webstermom -- my email is ____@____.com
Hope to see you soon!
Hi,
Check out www.momsclub.org
They have different groups depending on what city you are in. They do many activites, playgroups and mom's night out events. I have been a member for 3 years and have met so many moms, whom have all become great friends.
Hope this helps
