Depends on where you live www.momsclub.org
Hi,
I am the mom of a 2 year old, and I am looking for some ways to get my daughter to interact with other kids her age. She's never really had the chance to be around other kids. Now she is almost 2 and a half, and she seems very shy, if she does come in contact with other kids, she doesn't seem to know what to do.
I have stayed home ever since she was born, but I will probably be going back to work in the summer or fall, so I don't want to leave her in daycare when she's not used and not comfortable being around other people, and especially other kids. This is why I'm looking for any playdates, playgroups, or any ideas so I can get her out of the house, and interacting with other kids.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!!

My daughter is 1 1/2 don't know if that's a big age differance but I would love to join a playgroup or start one she doesn't get much interaction either I have a zoo membership where I can get two adults and up to four kids in we should go sometime. I live in the chandler area what about you
Not sure what is available in your area, but I just joined a moms group website that has different things available depending on the area you live in. I think you might find what you are looking for. It's meetup.com. Good luck.
Hi.
I have recently joined a MOMS club.(momsclub.com) We meet every Friday for play group. Also I am not quite sure were you live at, but the City of Chandler has alot of programs for kids here age. If you don"t live in Chandler I would check with the city that you live in.
Sincerely

My son was like that and play groups are one way but I could never get consitant times that worked with my schedule for play groups. I tried a few different ones. We actually put our son and daughter and at the time my son was 2 1/2 in Kindercare like 1 sometimes 2 days a week. This helped alot! He is now 3 1/2 and he is so much more social and not shy the way he use to be. Now he goes FT. I admit it was a transition for all of us! But it was a good decision for us!
