Seeking Pediatrician or Family Doctor

We go to Kids First Pediatrics. It is a group of women doctors who used to belong to Euclid Pediatrics. A few years ago they branched off and formed their own clinic.
So my kids have been seeing the same doctor since they were born. They are all very nice and competent. I even take my 14 year old son to them. Their number is ###-###-#### and they are located at 35010 chardon Blvd. that is at the corner of Rt. 91 (Som Center Road) in Willoughby which is only a few minutes from Mentor.

I think your kids should see a pediatrician and you and your husband see your own doctor. All the kids in my family and extended family see Dr. Danan at Northeast Pediatrics, Mentor. He is so great and the staff is excellent. We also think the other doctors in the practice are great too. They are very personal and know me just by my voice when I call. It is like family and I trust them so much. My husband and I see Dr. Danielle Cooper at Lake Family Practice in Mentor and she is also great. Please consider seeing Dr. Danan he is great with the kids and I cant say enough great things about him and his practice. Good Luck and welcome to Mentor.

Hi J. - I live in Mentor, too. My children are girl - 5 and boy 7 (on 2/2). We go to University Pediatrics in the medical building on the corner of Mentor Ave and Hopkins Road. We see Dr. Dykeman or Dr. Gallagher. We like the because they are always open. My husband and I go to Dr. Martha Hackett on Tyler Blvd. She's definitely not a warm and fuzzy children's doctor, but we like her for us.

Would be ver interested to keep in touch and maybe when the weather breaks we could meet at the park or something.

I send our kids to Premier Pediatrics. I have not had a bad doctor in the practice. I am very pleased with them. They are located on rt 20 and hopkins rd.

I would say keep your children with a peditrician. I use to have a family doctor and when my son got very sick I found i needed doctor that specializes with chidren.

Hi, J.! Welcome to the area! I live in Chardon, which if you don't already know, is about 15 minutes from Mentor. I have always taken my kids to the pediatrician at 9000 Mentor Avenue. It's part of University Hospitals, and I love it! We actually see Nancy Albanese, who is a nurse practitioner (we love her!), but we have also seen the other docs there as well and everyone is great! I love my pediatrician. Her name is Dr. Neha Sheth and she is part of Northeast Pediatrics. Her office is just off 90 and 306. So, its a short ride for you. She is very good. She does not like to give antibiotics unless its absolutely necessary. She treats my 2 DD's as if they were her own. And, she is very good at spending time w/you to answer questions, educate you, etc. Her number is ###-###-####
