I use Dr Mann off of Matlock and Debbie Ln. My 5 yr old son loves him. He is very down to earth and does not try to push things on you. He is awesome!
Hi Ladies,
I know I have seen questions like this asked before, but can anyone recommend a good pediatrician in the Mansfield, South Arlington area? I already know about Dr. Tomberlin, Dr. Sampson, and Dr. Archer. Are there any other recommendations?

I'm going to agree with the first reponse. We also use Dr. Prater and love her! She's really great.
I recommend Dr. Gretchen R. Prater at Mansfield Methodist Hospital - ###-###-####. I have been taking my children to her for about 18 months. She was the doctor to my newborn who is now 13 months and my daughter who is 4. She's great - very thorough. The office staff is friendly. The hospital and office are all new and nice.
Not Archer!!!!!
I love Matthew Mayer - I20 & Matlock!!!
Hey D. I use Dr. Daniels in Mansfield..He is in the same office as Dr. Mann and he is wonderful! I recently switched from another pediatrician in Mansfield and feel it was the best thing I have ever done! My son was recently diagonsed with lead poisioning and Dr. Daniels was really helpful and got things taken care of fast. The nurses at that office are wonderful as well and they also get you in and out in a good amount of time but they will also spend the time with you that you need and answer any and all questions you have. Good luck in your search...I know from personal experience how important it is to have a great pediatrician.
I take my children to Dr. Mann in Mansfield. I definitely recommend him. He has always listened to me and my concerns with my children. I have never felt like I was being rushed through a appt., and if you need to call and just talk to a nurse they are very helpful and do not treat you like are a over reacting mom.
Dr. Robert Mann in Mansfield. He is so great-second generation-he was my kids and is now my grandchildren's pediatrician.

Dr. Hampton is my hero! He is kind, caring, and attentive and I love his outlook on health care. We've been going to Dr. Hampton for 10 years. I was also looking for a pediatrician (many, many moons ago!) and there were SEVERAL recommendations for this doctor. I took the time to visit many different doctors for a consultation which took alot of time and I knew right away that I would choose him. His nurse practitioner is just as wonderful. I respect his medical approach regarding antibiotics. He will only prescribe them when absolutely necessary. As far as a bunch of cough syrups, etc., he will suggest natural remedies first. Also, a friend of mine had a daughter with a very rare condition (can't remember what it was) and visited many doctors. An organization that helps with rare diseases suggested Dr. Hampton and he was able to diagnose her properly on the very first visit. To this day, my friend will tell you that Dr. Hampton saved her daughter's life. My kids like going to the doctor and always have even when they were little. They NEVER cried about having to go. He's affiliated with Cook's children's hospital.
He's on the ground level in big hospital building at Matlock and I-20.
His phone number is ###-###-####. Good luck!
Dr. Walter Leon's office on Matlock & Mayfield. They are AWESOME. We've been going there for 4 years now and I don't have any complaints. ###-###-####.
We use Dr. Joki in Mansfield. He is with Cook's and he is great and will stay as long as you need to ask questions. I never feel rushed by him. If you go there though be prepared to wait. It always takes me like 2 hours. I guess I am not the only one he stays and answers questions for :-) I had made an appointment with Dr. Prater and liked her but all of the nurses in NICU gave me a funny look when I mentioned her and told me I should think about Dr. Joki.
Dr. Stacey Gibson-Hull at I-20 and Matlock is great. Actually any of the three doctors in that office are awesome. Dr. Hull just had her first baby a month or so ago, so I'm not sure if she is already back from maternity leave or not. If not, she's sure to come back shortly.
