I just recently had to leave my pediatrician due to a change in insurance companies and I'm in need of a new one. Can anyone recommend a good pediatrician in the Cranford/Westfield area? Millburn, Maplewood, Summit all work too! Thanks!

Summit Medical Group has Dr. Alan Thomas who is superb. I highly recommend him even though he kicked me out of his office b/c I would not vaccinate my child. Yet, if he took me back w/o vaccination, I would go back in a heart beat. Love him-despite our difference in opinion.

I absolutely love our pediatrician. Her name is Marnie Cambria and she is with the Summit Medical Group. She has a 2 or 3 year old daughter and is expecting a little boy in February so she is very easy to talk to about raising children, etc. since she is going through all of the same things herself. She will be out on maternity for the next few months so that may be a concern for you. We have seen the other doctors and nurse practitioners in the office and like them as well.

awesome New Providence Pediatrics.. even open on Sunday.. they have a sick waiting area and well waiting area.. which is a plus.. they have early walk in and late afternoon walk ins.. no appt. needed.. and are open 7 days a week.. on Sat and Sun it's just in the morning.. and you can always reach a dr. in an emergency.. they have 5 or 6 docs.. and all are awesome.. i've sent so many friends to them.. I love them. and so do they.. ###-###-#### I live in scotch plains and it's right up the mountain.. it takes me 7 minutes or less to get there... it's worth the trip.. try them out see if you like them...

I moved to Westfield last year and started at Westfield Pediatrics (like many others in town). The office itself is okay (how it is run, etc) but I REALLY like Dr. Matthew Kowalczyk there. We kind of fell into him because the doctor my daughter had seen there was unavailable when I had to bring my son in, and I'm so happy we did because I've just been so happy with how easy he is to deal with.

I don't know if I'll change the doctor for my daughter just because she may want a female doctor as she gets older, but Dr. Kowalczyk is definitely the one for my son!
