Seeking Pediatrician in Carrollton Area

You should try the doctors at North Carrollton Pediatrics, Dr William Coco, Dr Lynn Coulter, Dr Thomas Grubb and Dr Deborah Wardell. They are all great! I have 3 kids you have been seen there for the past 19 years.

Dr. Wardell Located off of Josey and Hebron. ###-###-####. She is wonderful!!

Try Dr. Coco his building is over by trinity medical. He was my dr. growing up and now sees my son. I've been very happy with him. Good Luck and Congrats on the new baby!

I use Dr Hector Hidalgo in Plano off of Windcom Court which is off of Communications and Parker. I have know Dr Hidalgo since I was 14 and I used to babysit his kids.
My older son which is 15 yr started going to him when he was 3 months when we moved back from California and my yongest son is 14 months started seeing him at 2 wks.
I think him and his staff are wonderful and I would not go to any other doctor. Dr Colberg works with him as well and is very good.
His office is called Trinity Pediatrics.

When I lived in Carrollton, I used Dr. Deborah Wardell and absolutely LOVED her! This was in 98-01 and was based out of the Trinity Medical Center. She's a mom herself, so understands what it's all about, explains what's going on and what to expect in a caring, easy to understand manner. I was a single parent at that time and really leaned on her and her staff. I would totally use her again if she were nearer.

You might wait until you have the baby. You'll get to "try out" which ever pediatricians are on call over the few days you're in the hospital. You'll get a good idea of their different bedside manners. One recommendation -- Make sure whoever you choose is also a parent! A doc who doesn't have his/her own kids has a hard time relating to "real world" parenting.

We have a WONDERFUL one in Carrollton. Not sure about your insurance. But Dr. William Coco is wonderful with our daughter who is almost two. Three of my friends bring their kids to him and that is how we found him. He is very thorough and when she has been sick is when we have loved him the most - never makes you feel silly as a first time mom for calling with things that are probably questions he's heard a million times.
