Hi Moms, I'm expecting baby number 2 later this year and although we've been very happy with our current pediatrician in Middleton - we'd like to find somebody closer to home. We live in Essex and would love to hear any recommendations! Thank you!

if you want to travel a little further to Danvers, North Shore Pediatrics is awesome! Dr Semen I don't think is taking any more patients (he is absolutely wonderful though!) but Dr DAnis is great!! All of them are...

I really like Susan Deluca at the Cummings Center in Beverly (Family practice but does a lot of kids). I have heard of a lot of people having negative experiences at Cape Ann Pediatrics in Gloucester. I know there are some docs that people like in Ipswich at the old Cable Gardens. Also LOVE Dr. Ting in Hamilton (family as well) which would be close to Essex.

I absolutey LOVE Garden City Pediatrics and their entire team of NPs, RNs and physicians (http://www.gardencitypediatrics.com/aboutus.html). They are open, literally, every day of the year. They have privileges at Beverly Hospital where it is an official satellite of and staffed by Children's Hospital physicians. The GCPA physicians are caring, approachable, down to earth and reasonable - and my kids love their Dr. We live in Rockport and have 3 children, two of which have required urgent/emergency care where both GCPA and Bev Hospital, and Children's Hospital saw to their every need. The bottom line is that you need to pick an office that suits your lifestyle and family's personality - it makes all the difference. We are a family of "questioners" and also like our instincts to be considered - we do not tend to be comfortable with those physicians that subscribe to the 'self-proclaimed God Complex'. GCPA answers our questions with enthusiasm and trust "Mom and Dad's gut" - not every child presents with 'text book' symptoms and GCPA realizes this - there is a bigger picture that they look at in their evaluations and care.

I really like Family Medicine Associates in Manchester. We see Dr.Bazylewicz. Hes great and I've seen a couple of other doctors and Nurse Practitioners there when he wasn't available and they were great too.
