I am looking for other single moms to perhaps start a playgroup or just support for the situation. I have been in other playgroups and it is somewhat awkward when everyone else is married or stay at home moms. If anyone has ideas or suggestions I would greatly appreciate it. I posted this same request back in August and didn't get anything off the ground. Hopefully this time there will be more responses.

I too am a single Mom. Unfortunately, my kids are quite a bit older than yours (5,7 & 9) but if there is ever anything I can do to help you out, just let me know. Also, if you get any responses from single Moms with older kids, please feel free to pass along my name. We've only lived in the area for 3 years & I've found it hard to build a network when I live in a neighborhood that consists mainly of stay home, married moms.
