Hi T.- My name is C.. I am interested in becoming a home stager. I love decorating. What is the best way to get into this industry?
I belong to the International Association of Home Staging Professionals, Arizona chapter. Each year we are involved in a World Wide Staging Week Event where we, as home Stagers, donate our time and services to a needy organization that is in need of a makeover. We are currently looking for a non-profit organization that fits this need. (May need painting, items donated, organized, just a fresh new look, etc) Do you know of one? Please, let me know!

Check out Maggie's Place in Phoenix. The Magdalene House needed a makeover when I was last there 4 years ago.
I'm involved with an organization called With Child. They are a Christian Crisis Pregnancy Center that serves over 3000 families per year. They run on a completely volunteer staff and rely on donations for everything that they do (which includes free pregnancy tests, counseling, parenting classes and adoption options, as well as giving clothes, diapers, strollers, cribs, car seats, etc. to families in need). They are in an old shopping center at the corner of Greenway & 32nd St. and I think they recently had some carpet donated, but they'd probably love some other help. The director is Kim Schmidt and you can contact her at ____@____.com
this is a wonderful thing you're doing. A facility in much need is Phoenix christian Academy in Phoenix AZ. It is located at 7th ave and thomas.
I believe I know of one, do public schools qualify as non-profits? There is a special needs pre-school & adult life skills for the developmentally disabled in Tempe Elementary School District 3, called Getz on Cornell, crossroads Kyrene & Baseline-that deserves anything and everything! They screen children district wide for early intervention for children with speech/language, cognitive, and gross/fine motor skill delays and even have a special program near and dear to me for children with autism. I'm not sure exactly what their needs may be since my son graduated from their autistim focused program which he started at 2yrs 9mos and is now in a regular 2nd grade classroom(with an aide and pullouts for therapy) and has not attended since he left them. I know they're still operating because of the frequent screening notices they send to district elementary schools. They perform a wonderful service on a daily basis, and deserve a lot more recognition(and I'll say it:pay!Teachers don't EVER earn enough, and these teachers are working with SEVERELY disabled children on a daily basis!)than they could EVER receive-I hope you will at least check into it and see if you can work together on this project-I can guarantee you will LOVE the teachers and therapists you meet-they are teaching our children out of love, and you can see it when they interact. Tell Miss Nancy of the TIGERS program Joey and Cece and Family say Hi-and thank you!
