We are moving to Omaha and are considering buying a home in the Legacy neighborhood (Center Road and 175th). Does anyone know if this is a good family neighborhood? Are there a fair amount of youg children? I have 2 boys, ages 3 and 5. Are the schools in this district good? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
I have lived in West Omaha (aka Millard) for 14 years. I attended Millard Schools, and I will only have my children in the Millard Schhol District. I live a few miles from where you plan on living, and I beleive your family will be happy with your choice. Welcome to Omaha.
We've lived just off 156th and Center for almost 5 years now and love it. You would be in the Millard School district which is one of the best in the state. We love it!
We just moved here from Michigan about 3 months ago. We moved to a neighborhood at 192nd and center. The neighborhood you are looking at is also in the Millard school district, which is considered one of the best. However, the property taxes are very high. We love it out here. Lots of kids. Also, I am a member of the MOMS Club out here (for SAHM). It is a great way to meet people and get your kids in playgroups.
Millard is a wonderful school district.
I love the Omaha area. Im not sure what school district that is but I have a friend that lives in that area. There are a lot of kids, mostly younger. Thats a nice area.
