My kids love her! I have 5 year twins and we been going for a couple of years. She lets the kids touch the instruments to see what they will feel. She also gives them sunglasses to wear for when she needs her light. The office visits are stress free for me since the kids are involved when they can touch some of the instruments.

We have been going to Dr. Kirtland since we moved here 4 years ago. My kids and I really like her. Due to my childhood dentist, I am VERY picky about the dentist I take my children to. She and her staff are very upbeat and positive. My son has a lot of issues with his teeth. She is very understanding of the situation and very helpful in caring for him. Even with all the work he has had done (I am talking a lot of work!), he still likes going to see her.

Hi D.,

Sorry I haven't had experience with that dentist. I just noticed the move thing and my best friend's daughter and grandaughters live in Arizona and she lives in Roselle. How do you feel about leaving your family and being that far away??

Though we don't go there any more (insurance change, closer proximity), she was wonderful when my oldest daughters was about 3 years-old. She did a filling which was borderline root canal and my daughter never was scared at all. She is very personable and sweet and wonderful with young children.

Concur with the others - she is great. When my son was 3.5 yo he had to have sealants put on all four molars. Since he couldn't sit still that long, he had to go under. She was great in explaining what would happen and everything went fine. We'll acutally be there in just a couple of weeks for his checkup!

I love her and her staff! My daughter is almost 5 and she thinks that going to the dentist is the coolest thing ever. I also recently had a dental emergency with my 21-month old who fell and cracked her 2 front teeth, and I was reassured by Dr, Kirtland and everything was handled so well. The staff played with my older daughter so she wouldn't have to hear her baby sister crying while having crowns put on her teeth. Anyway, my experiences there have all been positive, and I would recommend her!

My youngest had to have some baby teeth pulled and our family dentist was not of the disposition to handle a 5 year old in that situation. Kelly was fantastic. She put her at ease so that years later when she had to have more pulled, my daughter asked for Dr. Kelly. I highly recommend her!
