I am thinking about getting our girls (ages 2 1/2 and 4) an inflatable bouncer this year for Christmas. I would like one smaller in size so that we can use it in our basement durning the colder months. I have been reading some reviews online but was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to which are best and which to avoid. Thanks in advance for your imput!!

I'm not sure about the larger, heavier ones, but I know the cheaper ones, (under $50) wear out so quickly! I went through 2 and a friend went through 3 with her small kids. Seems like they need air every couple days--even at first, then from there they need air all the time! Here's a small indoor trampoline we found at Toys R Us.com --I think it's the best thing ever!

My kids (ages 3 and 4) received this Little Tikes inflatable bouncer for Christmas two years ago and they LOVE it. http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2332961
I put it up inside when they first got it and it was great. They use it outside in the warmer weather. It's very portable so you can even take it with you. It comes with its own blower and you just plug it in and jump.

We ordered one last year from One Step Ahead. It was a Christmas gift for our girls, ages at the time almost 2 and 4 1/2. They love it and still play on it regularly. They got lots of energy out during the winter months when we weren't outside as much. It fits in our basement and cost about $300, I think. Highly reccomend it!

My boys (2 1/2) received the Little Tykes one for their birthday in July. They LOVE it. It is sturdy and secures tightly at the door so they don't fall out (made the mistake of not securing it just once...live and learn. I was skeptical about putting it inside but on a recent rainy day, I put it in the living room and was able to sweep and mop the entire floor while they where jumping away all of their pent up energy. I highly recomend it.

Just a note, at their party they had various age kids in it as well (even mommy and daddy) and it held up nicely.

I don't know anything about the bouncers but wanted to weigh in on the indoor trampoline. We have the same one that Michelle B put in her post. My kids love it.

I know you said you are looking for a smaller one, but i have to tell you - we bought our 3 1/2 year old the Little Tikes 8ft by 8ft bouncer & he LOVES IT! It is currently set up in our living room. It is great quality and the best part is he can turn it on himself (using the reset/test button on the plug).

It is a great workout for him (he often is panting when he is done) and it folds up nicely and easily fits in the bag.

It was a little more expensive than we really wanted to spend, but he gotten SO many hours of enjoyment out of it (it is a hit at all his birthday parties, cookouts, and even his friends' parties).

We bought it from Walmart for $150. We originally looked at renting one for his birthday - while this one is smaller the amount of time that he uses it made it well worth while!!

Oh, we used Walmart.com - you log on, order it & then they ship it to the store & you stop and pick it up (no extra cost).

Best wishes - contact me if you have any other questions =O} (____@____.com)
