Hi!
I am looking for a good Gyn in Los Angeles to get a second opinion.. I need someone who has experience with not only delivering babies. I’m 39 y/o, married, have a son of 13 y/o. I haven’t had my periods since September! My Gyn did an ultrasound and said that everything looks normal and I shouldn’t worry about it since I’m not 25 anymore. In the past month or so I got more concerned though..It looks like I started getting hot flashes a few times a day now and even more at night. I feel like my body temperature changes constantly, one minute I’m fine, then I’m all sweaty and the next minute I’m all cold inside out and shivering like a leaf in the wind. Every inch of my body feels frozen by touch. In the past I’ve only had this experience during and recovering from the flu but I don’t have flu now. Also, sorry for being so graphical, the vaginal discharge is no longer white/light yellow color but greenish. It can’t be the yeast infection. I don’t have any burning, itching or pain even though it burns when I have sex. Again, sorry for all these details! I’m just worried and don’t know what to do or who to see next. Thanks!

It takes ten years to go thru menopause, you have symptoms early on is all are you on any medications?
Dr. Connie Chein is the best! She is wonderful with her patients, and completely dedicated. She has celeb clients, so her office from the outside looks subdued (no sign that says OBGYN). ###-###-#### in west LA, near Beverly Hills.
