Perfect for distance AND likeability: Dr. Elizabeth Jarem. She's older, from Poland, and really sweet. I'm having #3, and was very stressed about the "are we going to like each other" element. It's an all women's clinic and just down the street from you:

I previously had a female OB/GYN and did not want to have a male. But he was great. I have high-risk pregnancies and he took better care of me than the female OB/GYN. He actually listened to me and my concerns.

I liked him so much that when he moved to Gilbert, I kept him even though I live in Central Phoenix.

I happen to see your post, and wanted to let you know that the obgyn i started seeing for my first pregnancy is awesome! They are called Oasis Obgyn they are on power and brown. Its a beautiful office and so far I am very impressed with the care, for being 13 weeks. HTH!

I didn't like my OB in Gilbet (I think they over charged a lot and ran tests that were not needed - Valley Women for Women). If you need a Pediatrician I love Dr. Allred ###-###-#### she is at Higley anhd Chandler Heights. They also have other docs so you can always get in. They also have a well side and a sick side - Thats great!

I'm new to the area, so I just had to go through this! I've been seeing Dr. Rebecca Conrad. She is a Doctor through a group of OB/GYNs in the valley. - (Drs Goodman and Partridge)

They have an office in Gilbert - ###-###-####.
They also have an office on Power and Ray (This is the one i went to) - ###-###-####.

All of the doctors with this group are women. Just to let you know - I was experienceing GYN problems. I saw another doc first, (Dr. Russell Beck) and he was not responsive at all- He acted like I was making up my pain and problems - He just shrugged his shoulders and said, "I guess you'll have to be more patient."

So then I tried this group of Doctors (Goodman and Partridge). I saw the RN, and then Dr. Conrad and she has listened, been proactive, and I've felt comfortable with her since the first appointment. In fact, I just had a laparoscopy and she treated me with Endometriosis. If i had stayed with Dr. Beck, I'd still be in pain, worried, and worse - feeling like i was crazy for "making up" pain. Anyways...

I love my obgyn - Dr. Lori McNeal. She just moved to:
4824 East Baseline Rd., Ste. 129, between Higley & Greenfield. I know there are a couple of other doctors in the office that a friend of mine saw, Dr. Tutt and Dr. Beck. Their number is ###-###-####.

I love my OBGYN. His name is Doctor Layton. He is off of Higley and Baseline right next to the new Hospital where he delivers all of his babies. His office # is ###-###-####.

Hands down Gateway OB-GYN ###-###-####! Any of the docs there are amazing. Beck, Tutt, McNeal & Layton are all amazing. They deliver their own babies, unless they are out of town. It ins't a clinic, so you always see the same doc. They all go to Banner Gateway Hospital, which is new and beautiful and walking distance from their office. The staff is the best, front office to nurses. I honestly could list about 30 women I know who see one of the doctors there and love which ever one they see.

The true test of a good ob is to call local labor & deliveries and ask who they would see... try it!

I love my OB and my nurse midwife. They are both at Boojum Obstetrics. Dr. Kells is a very down to earth doctor and will spend as much time with you as you need. Janice, the nurse midwife, is the same way. They are both VERY knowledgeable, and the staff there is great. I have been through several OB's and this was by far, my favorite office. Dr. Jew is great, he is on Gilbert and Warner.

I have used New Horizons Women's Care for a few years. Dr. Marotz is my doctor. I would recommend them especially since I did have my son with them. They have a beautiful new facility across from Chandler Regional Hospital. It may not be as close as some of the new medical offices in your area but I have been happy with it. It's off of Chandler Blvd & Dobson.

I see Lori McNeal. She is excellent!

I'm at the corner of Higley and Ray (Lyons Gate)! I have two little girls and I'm also 28. We should do a play date once you get settled!

Anyway, to answer your question, I also go to Contemporary Care for Women on Greenfield and Guadalupe. I absolutely love their care. I see Dr. Tamanaha but have heard nothing bad about other doctors in the practice. Everyone I talk to (about 6 women I work with) love them and that's why I switched when I had my second child.

Also, if you are thinking about a new pediatrician, I would recommend Mesa Pediatrics. They are at Higley and Pecos. They also have 3 other offices, extended hours and saturday hours (not at the Gilbert office though)

I would highly recommend my OB Dr. Steven Lepetich. I absolultely love him and have had him for all four of my children. Everyone I have ever referred to him loves him just as much. He is a great doc especially in the delivery room. The delivery nurses all think he is the best too. I go to an OB/GYN office off of Higley and Baseline called East Valley Womens Medical Group and I see their nurse practitioner, Denise Donaldson. She's great! I have never seen the doctor or the midwife. They have another office in East Mesa on Crimson and Southern but that is pretty far away from you. The Higley/Baseline office number is ###-###-####. My Ob is WONDERFUL!!! Her name is Lisa Hollar and her office is right next to the desert samaritan hospital which is where she delivers. She is a quiet person, but very calming. I reccomend her to everyone who is need of an OBGYN

Just a note on Contemporary Care for Women, they have other offices in the valley which is nice if you need to go somewhere else for convenience one day. I go to the office in Tempe, so I don't know if this is true for their other locations but when I show up at the office they let me know if the doctor is running behind and give me the option to reschedule or if he is in a delivery they will let me see someone else or reschedule. In addition my longest wait has been about 15 minutes. The staff is always courteous and if I call their question line they get back to me very quickly.
