Seeking OB GYN Referral at Camino Medical Group or SJ Medical Group

I'm a member with El Camino Medical group, which is now Palo Alto. I have seen Dr. Grolle once, he delivered my second child because my dr. was off that weekend and he was pretty nice. He did make one rude comment, but I was not easily offended. I also seen Dr. Inouye, who delivered my third because of the same reason as last. My friend sees Inouye and really likes him, she is the one who referred me to El Camino. My dr. is Cary Hill for many years now and I have had no problems with him. He is very kind and always answers many questions that I have and has helped analyze and give more thoughts on things that I had considered, ex: when someone asked if I would donate eggs. i talked to him about that and he help with my decision.

I really like El Camino in itself. I think all of the staff there is great.

If you can switch to the Physicians Medical Group of San Jose, then I would suggest you do. I am also new to the area, and I just delivered my third with Dr. Azad (www.doctorazad.com). She was amazing, very personal, attends almost all her own deliveries. I am very happy I found her.

I see Dr Grolle at the Mountain view centre. He is amazing. I have meet women who don't like him but I love him. He is down to earth. Always has a joke. With My first he told me at about 34 weeks that I will need to have a c-section and after 50 hours labor of my little one was not moving i was in having a c-section. He picked it.

Many people (nurses and Dr. in other departments) at El Camino hospital have said that he is the best obgyn. Not sure if that is true.

I had Dr Cheryl Vu in Sunnyvale and she was great. I had no complications with my pregnancy, and she seemed very easy going. Dr. Grolle delivered my child on the night I gave birth, and I'm so glad he was the dr on call. He has a great reputation, was quick to assess the situation, and was able to calm me down so that the baby would come out naturally despite the narrow canal. I loved my experience at CMG and I know you will, too. Congratulations on your first!

I want to second Shilpa's recommendation. I've been with my OB/GYN for almost a year. First it was for a gyn problem, she was so patient and nice. She'd return my phone calls and even sometimes save me a visit by communicating by phone. Now that I'm pregnant, it's great to already know her. I'm totally nervous! First baby and all. But she's proven to be the perfect doctor, she took 30 min at my first visit to tell me all the stuff I can and can't do. I'm very greatful to have found her. Dr. Azad (www.doctorazad.com) . Shes in Mountain View and only delivers at that El Camino Hospital.

With my first daughter I saw Lynn Gretkowski in Mountain View...she is wonderful!!! So nice. And with my 2nd, I saw Dr. Takeshi Inouye, also in Mountain View...he is also wonderful!! The reason I had to switch with my 2nd is b/c Dr. Gretkowski was very busy at the time and was not able to see me till me 13th week, so I decided to switch to be seen sooner. You can't go wrong with either docs. A good friend of mine works at El Camino Hospital in Labor and Delivery. She works with these docs all the time and recommended them to me....I was very happy overall...with the docs and with Camino Medical group in general. Congrats on your pregnancy and good luck!!

I am part of Camino Medical Group in Sunnyvale and my OBGYN is Dr. Hung Ecklund, she is great and I am 30 weeks into my current pregnancy. Highly recommend her knowledge and bedside manner.

I love my OBGYN, Catherine Hill at Camino Medical Group. I was pregnant w/twins four years ago & she was so nice & so friendly. She is very down to earth, always made me feel completely comfortable & is very approachable for questions or anything at all. I've heard she's extremely popular & may only take pregnant patients - so since you are pregnant, you may be in luck. I first started seeing her when I was pregnant, but from what I remember, she didn't want to see me until I was at least 12 weeks pregnant. I'm not sure if that's how most OBGYN's are if you're going to them for the first time while pregnant? But she's at the Mountain View office at 701 E. El Camino Real - phone is ###-###-####. My Dr was Inouye in Mountain View with Camino medical Group.Would highly recommend him.Stay away from Dr CAry Hill.

I have no idea if she is in the groups that you mentioned, but she is certainly worth the time it takes to find out! Dr. Mary Margaret O'Neil. she is wonderful, and the best part of it is that she works with and supports Midwives in her practice. When I had my first baby I interviewed a few OBGYN's but her practice stood out to me. Because I was healthy and I took time to educate myself about the very natural powerful process of birth I chose to have my baby at home with one of the midwives from her office. It was such a beautiful and empowering experience. We were at home, safe, comfortable and familiar. My husband was free to care for me and I was free to birth how I chose without stiff hospital protocols and rules. However if there was a need to transfer to a hospital for medical help beyond what my midwife could provide, she was free to join me along the way and Dr. Oneil would be standing by to jon the team! We had our second baby at home as well, both times with the pain relief of a birthpool (put up in our family room) what magic the effect of water has on pain, and I swear it made me relax and my stages went quickly. See if Dr. O'Neil is in the groups you mentioned and check out all of your birthing options such as Doula's, Midwives and homebirthing! Enjoy your pregnancy!

I have seen several there and they have all been great. (mine went on maternity leave during my pregnancy) I especially like Dr. Cheryl Vu. She alway spends time and talks to me no matter what her schedual is like. She is very caring and has let us cry in her office and regain our composure before going on. She always seems to have a genuine smile.
