J.B.
I have been seeing midwife Linda Meihlan since I became pregnant with my first daughter 5 years ago. She delivered both of my girls, and I just LOVE her.
I would recommend her to anyone.
I haven't seen anyone else at FVWH, just Linda.
I am looking for a recommendation of a good FEMALE OB/GYN. Does anyone know anything about the following Doctors and Practice:
Debra L. Jaryszak, MD (Don't know her practice name)
FOX VALLEY WOMAN'S HEALTHCARE
Cheryl Paradis-Fiedler, MD
C. Estes, MD
Carol Korzen, MD
Any other info on other OB's you would recommend in this area would be greatly appreciated.

I've been going to Fox Valley Women's Health for almost 9 years. In that time I've seen Dr. Paradis,Mary Traub -- cnm (retired), Linda Meilan -- cnm, and Dr. Korzen. I highly recommend any of them.
This practice has excellent care, good staff, and seems to have a large respect from the staff at Sherman hospital (where both my children were delivered). I've recommended a number of friends to this practice, and none of them have been disappointed.
I don't know about any of those doctors, but I go to the Woman and Children's Health Partnership and see Dr. Mills. They have OB/GYN offices in St. Charles on Randall Rd and Aurora attached to Provena Mercy Medical Center. I am 25 weeks pregnant with my first child and very happy with the care that I have received thus far.
FVWH is awesome. I've reccomended them many times on Mamasource. If you go into local business reviews I think you will find many good reviews for them. I have seen Mary, Linda and Dr. Paradis. Of all of them there now I prefer Linda...Dr. Paradis is good but her internal exam wasn't the gentlest ;-/. Other than that, nothing but good things to say about them.
Carol Korzen, MD delivered my daughter I have to admit I loved her as an OB since I no longer live in the area I had stopped seeing her but have not been happy since so am now willing to drive the hour and a half to go see her again
Fox Valley Women's is ok. There is ALWAYS such a long wait to see the doctors, at least in the Sherman office. I only have experience with Dr. Estes and I thought she was terrible. She laughed at me when I told her I was charting my temperatures to determine ovulation when we were trying. I learned that I have an ovulatory problem through my temping, but she said she didn't think it was a problem and told me to try for one year and if nothing happened, to come back. I saw a specialist who confirmed my beliefs with blood tests and I had to have help getting pregnant. She was not very sensitive to my issue and was very arrogant about how she was the doctor, not me, even though I have a doctorate degree in Pharmacy. I do not recommend her, but maybe others have good experiences with her.
I currently just went to see Cheryl Paradis for the first and I really liked her. She took her time and answered all my questions. I have only been there once but liked her alot.

I have been a patient of Dr. Paradis for many years. She delivered both of my daughters at St. Joseph's Hospital. I think she is kind, understanding and a good doctor. C. Estes is not exactly the warm and fuzzy time unfortunately. I also like the Mid Wives at this practice. I would highly recommend Dr. Paradis. Because you live on the far West side I would also suggest you use their St. Joe's office and even the Huntley office on Rt. 47 is not far. I like them both better than the Sherman office. Good luck.
I see Dr. Korzen and I just love her. She is young, progressive, and friendly. I am going to have my second planned C-section with her in July and wouldn't want anyone else.
