I would highly recommend Dr. Karen Hirschberg. She is an experienced OB/GYN who is laid back and very patient. My husband and I both like her. She practices out of both hospitals, Memorial Regional in Hlwd and Memorial West in Pembroke Pines.

I just started with her at the beginning of the year with my first pregnancy too. At that time, she was still taking new patients.

Good luck.

L.,

I would also recommend Dr. Siudmak, he is excellent. He has delivered 2 of my boys and I absolutely love him. He has an excellent bedside manner and is very caring and very understanding of his patients.

Good Luck

Please stay away from Dr. Augustino as a full-term doctor... I understand it was an emergency, and he was on call, but on a one-on-one basis, this guy has zero bedside manners and can be a total je*k. I was rushed to the E.R. at Pines after having horrible pains from the procedure he did on me... When I contacted him, he said the pain was in my head, and he is very experienced and doesn't make mistakes...

I was amazed at the lack of compassion and lack of bedside manners. The next doctor I saw was completely amazed at his response, and said he was completely wrong... He did a botched procedure after a miscarriage and ended up leaving A LOT of tissue behind and sending me home with no medication or pain relievers... I was bleeding like crazy, and doubled over in pain... like I said, had to go to the ER and be treated by another doctor to help me. I would stay away from this guy with a 10 foot pole.

On another note, I have heard amazing things about Suidemak and Han. I am looking into a new doctor as well. Good luck!

I just posted pretty much the same question above and found out Dr. Siudmak is no longer taking new patients at the Total Women's Healthcare location.

I'm on hold trying to make an appointment with the below recommendation....Dr. Hirschenberg.

5 minutes...still on hold....

Hi L.,
I asked this same question about 6 months ago. I too am from Orlando and now live in Pemb.Pines.I became pregnant and was referred to Dr. Han of All Womens Health Care.I liked her alot. She's very layed back and has great bedside manner. However this is a large practice so you never know who will be delivering you.I ended up having an emergency C- section so Dr. Agustino was on call.He did a phenominal job but it's so hard to have a stranger come to deliver you.(at least for me it was)Most of the nurses leave a little something to be desired unfortunately. This practice only delivers at Memorial West on Flamingo, which was a great hospital!!Their office is right next to the hospital. The address is 603 N. Flamingo Rd. suite 360 a/b ###-###-####.Congratulations & good luck!!! I wish I could have been more helpful!!!
