I take my children to Lenox Hill Medical Group on the 95th between 2nd & 3rd. Wonderful bunch, I just don't about the vaccination schedule. But I'm sure you can just call them and ask. ###-###-####
I am a first time mom expecting at the end of August and I'm looking for a pediatrician (preferably close to the Upper East Side) who is willing to separate and delay some vaccinations. I am absolutely going to vaccinate, I just want to follow something like Dr. Sears' recommended schedule in which vaccines are mainly given one at a time. I would love to hear your experiences! Similarly, if you have had a bad experience with a pediatrician in the neigborhood I would like to know that as well!

Congratulations on your new family. You're in for ride. I have three children. The first two went to their pediatrician on the upper west side, by Columbia Presbyterian Hospital. He's a bit of an old timer, and a firm believer of one-at-a-time vaccinations. If you're interested, and he's still practicing, I can give you his contact information.
My third had a pediatrician closer to home, where she received several at one time. I would imagine that you as the parent could choose your pediatrician and simply request delayed vaccinations. Good luck!

Dear S.,
I highly recommend Dr. Alison Gatti from West Care Medical Associates on CPW between 83rd and 84th. She has been very supportive of whatever decision we make and has even helped come up with a schedule for us. She has a 1 year old son and is very in touch with the concerns of parents these days about vaccines.
Best of luck.
Hi S., First off: Congratulations & best wishes on the upcoming birth of your baby. We live on the UES & use Uptown Pediatrics, they are located at the corner of 96th & Park ###-###-####. We use Dr. Alpert, she is really nice and open to staggering shots/alternate scheduling. She actually recommended a book, the title of which I don't remember about alt. sched. for immunizations (she said she didn't like it but many of her other patients' parents follow the schedule in it, so she really is understanding). When I was unsure about the HepB, she said we didn't need to do it until my son was going to possibly be bit by a child w/ HepB. They are affiliated with Mt Sinai.
I am on the UES as well and I see Dr. Gandih (80th btw 2/3rd ave).
At first when I went to her interview she was a firm believer of using the Cornell Wiell vaccination schedule, and i only used her because I was going to find one that was open to different schedules. As the time came for vaccinations, I told her what I wanted and she was completely fine with my own schedule. I think she is very good and would absolutely recommend her.
Try Dr. Cammerman at Uptown Pediatrics. He's great.
