Seeking Moms Who Has a Special Needs Preemie!!!!!!!!!

My DD was born @ 30 weeks and is now 10 months old (actual age). She does not have any special needs but if you want to send a message I would love to hear from other preemie moms.

Hi My son was born 13 weeks early, he is now 4 years old. He has hydrocephalus and mild cerebral palsey. He is doing very well, although he receives a lot of therapy. I also have a 3 year old daughter who was born 5 weeks early. I hope i can help to answer any questions you might have.

I have a preemie she was born at 32 weeks weighing 2lbs. we get pt and speech therapy

my 9 year old was born at 31 weeks and 3 days....its a littlehard at first but it gets better...

Hello. I had two preemies. My youngest son was a special needs infant too. I was very young when I had both of my sons. Let me know what you need help with and I may be able to help or help get the help that you and your family will need. I thought that I had to do it alone but then I found alot of poeple that was willing to help me out and made me understand just what was going on with my kids. Hope I can help in some way.

I have twin boys born at 24 weeks 5 days both have reflux but is getting bettier they are at least off the meds. one has a high palate so he cant eat certain foods because they are too thickand get stuck and he chokes, he had an IVH and its still there it never went away like they said it would and he has seizures every once in a while but since he passed the testing the y are telling me that they are not seizures they dont know what they are he also has to get hearing tests done every six months, when he gets a cold I have to watch him extra close becasue he had BPD when he came home and has been back in the hospital with npuemonia (spelling) he gets speech and physical therapy and his brother has had reflux and his frontal sutchers closed earlt but he hasnt had to have any surgery to get that fixed thankfully. but they are 1 now and except for set backs and almost losing one becasue of pnuemonia and difficulties in the NICU life has been great they are trying to walk now and drive me crazy.

My first son was born 6 weeks early with down syndrome. The best advice I can give you is to pray for and love your child lots

my son was premature by two months so if you want you can ask me whatever you need to know and if i know the answers to your questions i will help you anyway i can with answers.he had alot of problems and complications almost died several times on me(not trying to scare you)so i think i experienced a good share of the things that have happened and could go wrong. he's now 15 almost 16 so i had to of done something right.

I am a mom of a Micro Preemie, born 3 1/2 months early.
He is now a year old and doing great.
