Go to the car dealership and ask them to give you the website or phone number of someone in the Mustang customer service who can advise you on this. That's what the rest of the moms here would do.

Just about every police and fire department has at least O. trained car seat technician. Call & make an appointment with O..
It's free, local, and their knowledge could save a life! :)

If you take your car to Babies R us, they will help you try and find something. They will even let you try them in the car to see how it works.

I had to get rid of my Ford Zx2 because the carseat did not fit.

Good Luck.

You will not love your car so much after you've had to get the baby in and out of the back seat a few times. Good luck though!

OK Mom for the first time, here is the reality that comes with a baby.....it is not about you anymore and you may just have to get rid of the car.Give OneAndDone's suggestion a try, but honestly......you will be a mom now and your first priority, will be baby, not your hot 06 Mustang.

I had an 05 Mustang and love, love, loved it, but sadly had to trade it in for the F150 Roush. Not a bad trade in.

I could not get my Britax back there. I was sad, but I would only drive the Mustang when I had a sitter.

And yes, during my pregnancy, I had to practically drop into the seat. There was nothing graceful, nor sporty about it.

Trade the car in and title your question more specifically for more answers..every post here is "seeking moms" so some people won't open your question unless they think its about something they can actually help you with :)

DON'T GET RID OF THE CAR!!! When I was pregnant with my first I got rid of my 2 door sunfire, loved the car but felt I needed to get something more for the family. Years later I get rid of it and start driving my husbands mustang. After my second child was born I was very content driving it with both my kids. However my 6'3" husband couldn't handle driving it with a child behind him when we went somewhere as a family. Understandable, so i traded it in for a jeep liberty. My second child is now 5 and I wish now that I would have kept that mustang and had him drive his truck if we went somewhere as a family.
But more to your question, I'm not sure what car seat we got, just a basic one and it worked just fine in the back seat of the car on the passenger side with that seat pushed forward.
