Thanks!
hi there. i hate that i'm asking this, but my son and i were in a serious car accident saturday & i fear some representation may be needed. i'm not trying to cash in or anything, i just want my car fixed and my and my son's chiro bills covered. all doctors are touching us w/kid gloves b/c it's an accident and they're saying how they can't really bill my health insurance b/c it was an auto accident -- the my health insurance will reject the claim. the insurance companies are currently involved and i'd thought it'd just stay that way, but so many folks are recommending a lawyer. is that just "the thing" to say? do they know something i don't? thanks, M.
(we were t-boned making a left, leaving the dallas farmers market ... he ran a red light. of course he is saying i ran the light -- but i DID NOT. and i was so struck by how the first thing he said when he got out of the car was, "i had the green light." and he never spoke to us again. never asked if we were okay, etc. i had a screaming, bleeding six-year-old in my car and that was all he could say ... sorry, i'm really angry about that part.)

I recommend Jim Adler out of Dallas. 1-800-505-1414. If you have witnesses, there should be no problem, but they will send out a representitive to your house pretty quickly to help you get things going. They also have doctors they recommend that will treat you without pay until the insurance pays.
call your insurance agent that is what they are there for. Ask his advice before hiring an attorney. See if the insurance company is planning on fighting for you.
I can tell you from experience that if you were turning left, you are the one listed on the police report as first at fault - check it out first - I was rear ended by a man with no license or insurance and although he was listed at fault for speeding it was me listed first turning left. Your insurance should be paying for your medical bills unless all you have is liability then you are on your own. Your insurance company should handle all this and I can't figure out why you would want to sue anyone. I do hope you heal quickly.
Good morning! I am a lawyer but do not practice in this particular arena of auto accidents although I do have someone I highly recommend in this field of law his name is Chris Davis. You can reach him at ###-###-####. Good luck!
