Seeking Kid-friendly Hair Cut Places/recs. in Allen/Mckinney

I'm not sure about Allen or McKinney, but I took my kids to Snip-Its in Frisco. They did a great job on both of them.

K. - I also recommend The Kid Salon in Allen. We've been going there for over a year now. Someone else recommended it to us because my son had a really hard time with hair cuts (crying, etc). They handle those issues very well and are very understanding and patient. Their phone number is ###-###-####.

I've been going to Cool Cuts for Kids in Allen off of 75 and McDermott in the Target shopping center (next to Souper Salad). The last time I went, the receptionist was rude, but the actual stylist was very nice and did a great job with my 2 year old. I really recommend making an appointment - the wait can be pretty long if you don't.

We use The Kid Salon, haven't had any issues - and my son screams the entire time he gets his hair cut. Nothing they are doing wrong, just throwing that in there cause he always has a good cut and they deal with the screaming.

We used Zoo Cuts once, I liked their store but the stylist didn't listen to a word I said. Not going back there!!

I use Tana at Stalley's in McKinney. I took our 6 1/2 year old girls there for 'bob' haircuts and she was amazing with them! I also took our 2 1/2 year old son to her and she did a great job on his hair. She cuts my hair and several of my friends hair now too - and her prices are excellent - it's only $6 for kids!

I take my kids to Snip-Its, and they do a great job on both my son and my daughter. I tried Sharkey's on 121 but still prefer Snip-Its for the customer service and price.

We LOVE sharkey's. It's off of 121 and custer at the new super target shopping center. Its by peter piper pizza. they wash the kids hair and then for the girls after their haircut they paint their finger nails. My daughter has a bob that's stacked in the back and they always get it straight!
