I'm beginning to teach my infant sign language, and I'm looking for a signing playgroup in the central Ohio area (preferably Dublin).
Check out the Joyful Noise Studio - my friend runs a KinderMusik studio and they have a Sing and Sign class. She's actually in Powell but it's not that far from Dublin. If you are not interested in her classes contact her anyway she may be able to help you find a signing group.

Hi Julia. I've done sign with both of my children (now ages 3 years and 16 months) and all I can say is that it's a wonderful way to help them to communicate with me, and for me to better understand them (also other benefits like, I can talk to them quietly and they know what I'm saying.)
I never attended a playgroup where all of the moms signed with their kids (I think one other mom did in my playgroup), but if you're interested in getting together sometime, as I'm in the Dublin area, too, we could do that.

I don't know of a playgroup that does signing, but I have a daughter with special needs and she LOVES the Signing Time DVD's. Are you familiar with them? They are wonderful for teaching basic signs...and actually even my older kids like watching them.

Hi Julia. I don't know of any specific playgroups in Dublin that have a focus on signing but I took a class at the Elizabeth Blackwell Center about baby sign language. I would be interested in this type of playgroup as well. Please message me if you would like to talk more about this.
