Seeking Inexpensive Pre-school Programs.

I am a stay at home mom of two girls. My oldest (just turned 4) is getting bored and restless sitting at home. We have been doing pre-school books together and other activities but I think she is really ready for a little more stimulation and interaction with other kids her age. I have been trying to find a inexpensive pre-school program around Tempe to fit my budget. We have already applied to a pre-school program for kids who qualify for reduced school lunches, if you get approved the pre-school program is free to your child. However, we did not get approved as my husbands income is too high. If anyone knows of anything that might help it would be much appreciated.

What can I do next?

I don't know if you have a religious preference but I have always found church preschools to be an inexpensive alternative. Most have a two day a week (maybe 3 hours a day) alternative.

Both my kids went to Scottsdale United Methodist Preschool. It promotes parent involvement.

Hi T.
I teach preschool in my home. It is t/th 8:30-10:45 and only $90 a month. I am located at Stapley/Baseline Area. To tour the school visit us online: http://www.playandlearnprek.com
The kids on T/Th are 3's and 4's. I took my children to the college of education preschool at asu but they do not offer preschool only anymore, so it is really expensive. I would also try the town of tempe. Good Luck!
Thanks
B.
