I work for a dentist and he is very good and he is not pushing to any procedures. My whole family goes to him and everyone likes him.If you are intrested I could give you # and adress
I've always had bad luck with Dentists, I just don't trust them. They always seem to want to push procedures on me. Does anyone know of a good and honest dentist in the SE Macomb county area?

I have had the same one since I was little! He is great, but I have had to drive an hour to see him (now I am half the distance!) His name is Bruce Hulscher and his office is in Walled Lake. One of (if not the first) to practice laser instead of drilling and a staff that is more then happy to entertain my little girl while I have my cleanings! It may be to far, but for me, well worth the peace of mind!

Hi Melissa,
You mentioned SE side of Macomb-I recently interviewed a new dentist in my area to see how my son would like him. He turned out to be a wonderful man & I trust his suggestions, comments & have found that the work that he's done on both of us, is that of perfection. His name is Dr. Gregory Apsey & he's located on 13 Mile Road-East of VanDyke, West of Hoover on the South side in a newer office with all of the latest equipment. His office staff is very kind & informative, Lindsey & Linda. Their number is ###-###-####. I hope you will give them a try.
Kind Regards, K. A.
I'm not sure it qualifies as SE Macomb County- but my son and I go to

They are really great-- and I HATE going to the Dentist. My son loved it his first time as well. My only complaint is that they don't have early or late hours. I drive from Rochester Hills to see them though-- it is absolutely worth the drive for us.
Dr John Leverenz is at 24619 Harper around 10 Mile in SCS. A mom from our previous school is a hygienist there (Stacey) and I went there after a bad experience at another dentist office. That "bad" office would not send copies of my x-rays without my paying for copies. After I already paid for them to be taken? Well, knowing my insurance would not pay for repeat x-rays in under 6 months, Dr. Leverenz repeated the x-rays at NO CHARGE to me! That's pretty generous these days, isn't it?
My 9year old had a bad experience with filling a cavity and had to get another done recently. I took her to Dr. Leverenz and it was totally non-eventful. My 6year old just 2 weeks ago fell on her bedpost, knocking out a top front tooth (already very loose and ready to fall out). Lots of blood lots of crying. The urgent care doctor recommended a visit to the dentist the next morning and Dr. Leverenz was great! Instead of giving her a shot of novacaine, he numbed the area with some topical goo, then used a simple ice cube to numb the area.
Sorry so long, but as you can see, I've had 3 instances where Dr. Leverenz has pulled through and I've been extremely happy.
