Wise moms, I am trying not to freak out here, and I do not know if I should. Yesterday my little girl came from school and as usual we were playing and she wanted to pee, we went to the restroom and the she started crying and said it really hurts, I asked her were, she said that when she pees it hurt so she stop peeing after only a few drops.

She was holding her pee and saying it really hurt, I tried to see if she was irritated or red, and I saw right in the bottom part a little cut, very small, like 2 milimeters, it was red around and the worse part there was a drop of blood in her undies.

I asked her if she scratched, she said no, if someone touched her, she said no, if she fell, she said no, I repetedly ask her what happens and she just would not say.

What should I do? Should I take her to the doctor?

I really love the school she is at, and I think the teachers are very lovely and caring, they are never unsupervized and boys and girls have separate restrooms.

I am overreacting? How can she cut herself downthere?

Please guidance!

If I were you I would immediately take her to the doctor. Have them assess the situation and go forward on their recommendations. There is a possibility that your daughter just has a yeast infection and she was itching herself in some manner that she doesn’t want to admit to you. Have them check for bladder and yeast infection. The important thing is to try and get to the bottom of this as soon as you can. Find out what the doctor thinks, and then start talking with the teacher. I hope works out for the best.

Take her to the doctor, they can determine based on the sore what may have caused it. Do not jump to any conclusions until you have seen a doctor.

I would definitely take your child to the doctor to have this checked out.

Take a breath. Inhale peace, exhale fear.

Now, it's sounds like a bad bladder infection to me. Hurry to the doctor's office. If it is a bladder infection, you want to catch it early, because it can spread to the kidneys. A bad infection can cause blood in urine, pain and dribbles of urine when she wants to go.

Make sure she drinks A LOT. Cranberry juice is good.

Let the doctor sort this one out.

My son used to hold his urine for a crazy amount of time. Sometimes as long as 6 hours because he didn't want to use the school's bathroom. He forgot to drink on this inauguration day and got himself so dehydrated that he threw up...and he'll be 9 in April. Just goes to show that no matter how old they are, they still need the "talk." "Don't forget to drink. You need to drink a whole bottle of water and a small juice box at school. You need to pee 3 times...etc."

Good luck.
