I have to say I love Lower Bucks peds too!!! I have seen just about every dr. there and they are all great.
After a month of being ignored and brushed off by my current pediatrician regarding my daughter's chronic congestion and cough, I've decided to look for a new pediatrician or allergy/asthma specialist. Can anyone recommend a GREAT pediatrician and/or asthma/allergy specialist in the Newtown, PA (or Richboro)area? I would also consider a Family Practice doctor or Nurse Practitioner. Preferably someone who doesn't think they know it all, and listens to you when you know something is wrong.
Thank you for all of your suggestions. I ended up taking my daughter to Lower Bucks Pediatrics, and have seen Dr. Weinberg and Dr. Coren already. I was immediately impressed. They were very attentive and immediately took action. Dr. Weinberg started my daughter on a nebulizer in the office and gave us one to bring home. He made us come back later the same week to make sure the treatments were working. I was lucky he did, because as a result of my previous pediatrician ignoring her symptoms, she ended up with another ear infection. She is doing much better now thanks to a pediatrician who actually listened to my "mothers intuition."

Dr. C. is now at Hatboro Pediatrics, PC www.hatboropediatrics.com ###-###-####.
Hi J.!
My pediatrician is excellent. His name is Auren Wineburg and he is with Lower Bucks Pediatrics ###-###-####) in Langhorne, PA. He did his residency at CHOP and is very knowledgeable. We have a daughter with a birth defect and he is always understanding, helpful, and really has the child's best interest in mind. I suggest you give him a shot. :)

We go to Lower Bucks Pediatrics in Yardley as well. Have had good service and like that the doctor calls promptly for on-call issues (even at 3am on Thanksgiving!). Saturday sick hours are great too. We don't see any one particular doctor, just whomever is available. Our son has asthma and they've been very supportive (my husband and I were both childhood asthmatics, so we're ahead of the curve than most). Good luck!
FYI Dr. Jennifer Coren has opened her own practice, Hatboro Pediatrics, 483 County Line Rd Hatboro PA. www.hatboropediatrics.com. You might want to check her out.
She is having an open house October 1, 2011. Free face painting, balloons, snacks and a magician along with a tour of her modern new offices.

I absolutely agree with those who wrote in about Lower Bucks Pediatrics. Our daughter is 18 months old and we have been looking for a great doctor since then. I went to Dr. Weinberg yesterday for her well visit and he was super. He asked so many questions and really took an interest in her. They also have incredibly lean offices with 2 waiting rooms (completely separate) for sick and well visits. I also love that they have Saturday hours for sick appointments and that they are affiliated with Mercer Medical which has a highly regarded pediatric ER. I am hoping our search has ended! Good luck.
Pediatric Allergist - Children's Hospital is the best in Philadelphia - Dr. Lee or Dr. Corry. My daughter and cousin's daughter both have food allergies and they were great down there. About 3-4 weeks to make appointment.
Our Family Practitioner is Anne Whalen of Whalen & McElmoyle - at the Medical Office Building at St. Mary's Hospital - I have been going to her for 9 years now - she's awesome!!! As far as pediatric allergists - I go to Dr. Pawloski at CHOP - he is in their satellite office in King of Prussia - a little bit of a drive but soo worth it - have been going to him for 9 years also - my oldes son has several life threatening food allergies & when my younger son developed really bad asthma - he was the one I turned to - his demeanor is GREAT! Good luck
Hi J.,
My youngest who is also 7 months old has been extremely sick along the same lines since he was 6 weeks old. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE our doctor. She not only listens to me and spends as much time as we need examining him or making sure he is ok and answering all my questions, she will do follow up calls frequently. She personally has called me on her way home from work while my son was hospitalized to see his status, even though she wasn't the doctor in charge of calls that day (I had already talked with a doctor in the practice).
All the doctors at this practice are great, but she (Dr. Jennifer Coren) and Doctor Weinberg and Gardner are my favorites. It is Lower Bucks Pediatrics. Web site: http://www.lowerbuckspediatrics.com/ phone: ###-###-####.
Good luck!
Hi, I have been with our pediatrics practice for more than 10 years and I think they're great: I use Kids' First Newtown which is on Penns' Trail. The Dr.s are Dr. Sasson, Dr. Brister, Dr. Walder and Dr. Kardos.
My son sees Dr. Smith in Richboro.

Kind of a "know it all", but has helped my son. He's the pediatric allergist for the allergy practice I go to. I see Dr. Frederick Cogen myself, who I LOVE. If Dr. Smith cant help you, perhaps you can consult with Dr. Cogen. All associated with Holy Redeemer H.
