So What Happened?

After checking out 4 different doctors i found Dr Olivia Crookes in Santa Monica. She is great. I actually had difficulty getting pregnant and she discovered that I had endometriosis, removed the cyst, and got pregnant within 3 months! She knows what she is doing but also has a sense of humor, which s a great fit for me.

What kind of birth would you like? I had two different birth experiences with different doctors on the west side. I would recommend them both-
My first son was born at Cedars- and although I didn't love the hospital (just a personally bad experience with one of the nurses), I LOVED my OBGYN. His name is Jay Goldberg. His office is in Beverly Hills Several people recommended him to me. Great bedside manner, very nice and funny, tons of experience. Plus, I saw him at every appointment- which was way different than the OB I transferred to him from.
With my second baby I had a home birth. I used the midwives at the Sanctuary Birth Center on Venice. I would HIGHLY recommend them--- the most incredible health care I have ever received.
Anyways (sounds like you want a doctor)--- they have a back up doctor who I had to consult with because amniotic fluid started leaking and he had to make the determination if I needed to be induced. His name is David Kline and he is in Beverly Hills as well. He is older and very very experienced and so very sweet. He puts you right at ease. He delivers at cedars as well, I think. He didn't deliver my baby (my midwife did) but I would have been very comfortable if something had gone wrong and he was the one to take care of it!

Good luck! picking an OBGYN is hard. btw. I have anthem blue cross ppo so I'm guessing it's the same as yours and will be taken.

I love Ayanna Walden M.D. at Cedars Sinai. She delivered my daughter (c-section) and has been my gyno ever since.

I love dr ayanna walden who is at cedars. She came to me as a random recommendation, but I couldn't be happier! She was great before I was pregnant & over the last 8 months of my pregnancy.

Hi M.,

Hands down, my recommendation is Dr. David Kline out of Century City. His # is ###-###-####. He is the main reason I did not have a C-section with my first baby. He's compassionate and respectful of women's choices.

Congratulations!

Dr. Paul Hackmeyer at Cedars Sinai. He has been my doc for about 5 years, delivered my daughter 2 years ago, C Section, and will be delivering my second baby girl in 3 weeks! Definitely a well regarded doctor at that hospital. Love him.

I second the recommendation for Dr. Jay Goldberg. He delivered both my children and I wouldn't have wanted anyone else. He's funny, quick to put you at ease, and really took care of my whole family.
