My 8 month old girl was born in Santa Monica with my old OB/GYN. I am looking for a closer DR in Pasadena, and plan to deliver the next one at Huntington (if and when). I had my daughter via c-section (breech) and will likely have another cesarean. In the meantime, I need normal exams and such but I'd like to start that relationship should I become pregnant again. Strangely enough, I prefer a male. Any great referrals?

Dr. Brian Jick and his office are wonderful . I am a patient of Dr. Jennie Chen in his office,but have worked with Dr. Jick when she is not available. Their office is located right across from Huntington.

I love my doctor, Dr. Macer, who delivered our son at Huntington. He's warm, spent a lot of time with me, and didn't even suggest any interventions during the labor and delivery of our son. (I did have a fairly smooth labor, but still, he never uttered Pitocin even though it meant he delivered our son at 8:30PM, and I'm sure a little Pitocin earlier in the day would have had him home for dinner!) :):)
He was recommended to me by my a close friend, who was a resident at Huntington Hospital, and who I asked to get the scoop on the OB's there. This friend reported back that most of the doctors at Huntington use Dr. Macer and his group or OB's to deliver their babies - that was a good enough recommendation for me! :)
Anyway, that's just my experience - good luck!!! :)

I have had my three kids delivered by doctor Woodard. My sister in law and several of my friends are also fans. His practice is in La Canada across from Verdugo Hills Hospital. I am almost sure that he also delivers at Huntington. My oldest is now 8 and my youngest 10 month old.

Patrick sutton is great. I delivered both of my children with him. I have seen him for about 7 or 8 years now. great experiences.
Dear K.: Valerie Myers, MD was my OB; however, she no longer delivers babies. She is terrific and works out of Huntington. 10 CONGRESS ST, SUITE 400, PASADENA ###-###-####. She practices with a group of OB's in the event you have another baby. Take care, K. PS She works w/ Dr Macer
Dr. Barat Shah is great! He was my high risk doctor, I believe he also does regular OB as well! He is very busy though, thats the only draw back-- the wait time in office!
i had both my children with dr. james henneberg. i also know several people who go to his partner dr. macer. i highly recommend the practice, which is located just behind huntington hospital. the number is ###-###-####.
