We have a 3 year old Bichon/Poodle mix that we rescued in November. We've taken her a coupld of times to the groomers at Petco and Petsmart and have not been too happy that they basically shaved all her hair (when we asked them not to go that short) and I think did a sloppy job. Anyone have any better recommendations for me in or near Woodland Hills? Thanks!!

My Toy Poodle always looks fabulous when I pick him up from Merri's. I've tried several places, including Petco. Merri's is the best. The staff is great. We've been taking him there for a while now and are pleased every time.
Merri's Grooming Palace on Fallbrook at Oxnard is great. Merri and all the staff are great with the pets. They also have pick and drop off if you need it.
I've done the same and recently found Dori's Grooming on Topanga just south of Ventura. She knows dogs and did a great job on my Scottie/poodle and Wheaton/poodle. The number there is ###-###-####.

We've taken our two Airedale Terriers to Paws & Claws on Ventura Blvd. in Woodland Hills for several years. They do a great job.
I have a great pet groomer in Woodland Hills for my Bichon Frise. The groomer is Le Chien, and they are located on Ventura Blvd. near Fallbrook. It costs about $40.00 to $45.00, depending on what kind of shape you dog is in. This includes expert cutting, nail trimming, brushing of their teeth (just request it), anal expressing, and a lot of love. I like the classic Bichon cut, so that is the look I ask for. They are sweet and wonderful, much better than Petco and Petsmart. which is where I went before I found them. Good luck!!!
