Sorry to answer so late. I live in the Sandy Plains Road area too. My hairdresser, Malini, is wonderful. I've been going to her for about 10 years. Her salon is on Canton Road just down from Frankies. Salon Malini - ###-###-####. If you haven't found someone, give her a call.

Hi, T.!
I live in the same area as you do! I went to 313 for several years before three of the girls left to start their own salon in Canton. I now go there (Ping Segars Salon) to get my hair colored, highlighted and cut. Megan does my color/highlights and Lauren cuts my hair (sometimes a guy named C.C. cuts it when Lauren can't). If you don't want to drive to Canton, Rico at 313 is GREAT w/color and highlights and Chris Leighty (a girl) is great w/cuts there.
Hope this helps! I just LOVE Megan and the crew at Ping Segars, but it is a 20 min. drive, if you don't mind that...

Tammy Smith -- very good -- I have curly hair and it's hard to find a good curly hair person! She's also a GREAT colorer! The name of the business for Lee and Tammy Smith is Dolce Vita. phone: ###-###-####

Sounds like you must be on the north side of Sandy Plains. You'd just go up to 92 and turn right and go into Roswell. Their shop is the basement of their house. I guess maybe 4 or 5 miles from Sandy )Plains? It's before you get to Crabapple. Well, they can give you directions if you decide to call and check them out.

If you want the number one hair colorist that Redken has, he is here in Roswell. Brent Hardgrave owns the Big Tease hair salon on Canton street in Roswell. You will be pampered when you go in, and Brents personality is just amazing. He travels the country for Redken teaching classes on color and cut. You can go in and talk with him first or just call and make an appointment. While you are there you will be offered a parafin hand treatment and a warm face wrap, no charge it is just part of their treatment. My son and husband both go there as well. He is the best! I know if you go there you will forever be a customer.

The guy I go to is close to your area. He is in the Concourse building off Peachtree Dunwoody. It is called The Tonsorial Salon and his name is Danny. He owns it and has never given me a bad cut or color. He was recommended by my old stylist when I moved up here. His number is ###-###-####. His prices are also reasonable.

I moved here 3 years ago from Michigan and I love it here-I live in East Cobb to over off Roswell Road. I found Don Westbrook @ Elon Salon is fantastic! ###-###-####. He does great color and beautiful cuts. He himself is a little high ($65 for a cut) but at his salon he trains all his people personally and I've actually gone to other people with great results. The cuts go from $30 on up depending on how long the stylist has been training under him. Good Luck!

Hi T.! You might want to try Salon 124. I usually drive to the Sugarloaf location (my best friend works there), but I have been to all of their locations, and I have never had a bad experience. (I have naturally curly hair that can be very high maintenance in all of this humidity, and they are great with it!) As a side note, I love the Redken Fresh Curls products for my curls and the Redken Active Control shampoos for when I wear it straight. Good luck with your search; I hope you find a great place.
