Hey Mama's ,

I am in need of finding a new female MD as well as a new Female OBGYN.
My Female MD is no longer practicing as she has become very ill. I don't like male doctors and would love any referrals any of you ladies have to offer.

Dallas, Richardson, Plano,Frisco, Allen, Mckinney are all areas I would like referrals from.

For an OB GYN - Dr. Lisa Umholtz at Medical Center of Plano- off of 15th Street. I just love her. She is straight to the point and has a great sense of humor. Would not go to anyone else. ###-###-####. Good Luck

I love Dr. Julie Farrow (farrowandwatkins.com). She is in one of the MOBs at Plano Presby and is phenomenal. She saw me w/in an hour as a first-time patient when I thought I had something strange happening, very compassionate and never rushes me. Her nurses and office staff are really great too. I have not ben seen by Dr. Kelli Watkins, but a good friend sees her and says the same things. Small practice but I love it.

Go see Dr Yolanda Lawson as an OBGYN. I wouldn't waste my time with anyone else! She is awesome. She really, really, really respects her patients and tries to come from your point of view, whatever that may be. I drive an hour to see her because I like her that much:-) She is in the middle of expanding her practice, so there might be a little bit of construction if you go. She is right by Baylor Dallas. I don't actually live in Allen like my thing says (I'm too paranoid to give my exact location! hehe), but from Allen it would probably be 35-40 minutes away? I'm going to see her today! There really aren't many drs like her.

I love the OBGYN office I go to www.craigranchobgyn.com. I've seen all the physicians there but my main doc is Sara Robert. As far as an MD, I've yet to need one since moving to TX so I'm no help there, sorry:(

Dr. Leslie Welborne- she just moved to Baylor Frisco off of Warren. She's very down to earth and will soon deliver my third child. If you're thinking of having another baby, Baylor Frisco is the best hospital in the area!!! The steak and lobster dinner is a big plus too:)

I know you've got a lot of recommendations, but I thought I'd add mine to the mix. For my OB/GYN, I go to Adriatica Women's Health - it is an all female practice and I just love it. Everything in the office is set up from a women's perspective, right down to the Bath and Body Works products to wash your hands and lotion them as well. I see Dr. Banks, but I'm sure everyone else is great too. I've taken my daughter as well and they handled that wonderfully - not overdoing it or scaring her at all. They are in McKinney on Virginia. Their phone number is ###-###-#### and their website is http://adriatica-wh.com. I had surgery this summer, so I've had a lot of experience with Dr. Banks.
For my general practitioner, I see Dr. Julie Kappler at Family Healthcare Associates. She is in Allen in the medical center building of Allen Presbyterian hospital. The phone number is ###-###-####.
