Hi moms!! I am currently switching my mother's doctor over (she's 55) from the one she has to a Beaumont doctor. I have gotten a great referral but there office isn't able to see her until august and she needs to be seen much sooner than that. I'm looking for someone who is gentle, caring, but also straight forward, if that makes sense! My mothers health isn't the best and I feel like part of the reason is her old doctor wasn't taking good care of her...or taking her concerns earnestly...we live near the royal oak area so somewhere around here would be great. Thanks in advance!!

What can I do next?

I would highly recommend Dr. Jeffrey Klein in Troy ###-###-####....knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. My mom has been going to him for years and my dad saw him in the later stages of his life. He explains things well, gives you a feeling of confidence in his ability, and is very compassionate. Good luck!

Hi M.,

I have been at Beaumont for over 15 years & I know how you feel. I'm the type of person that must have a doctor that is gentle, caring, understanding & straight-forward at the same time. I have alot of medical issues so I depend on him to listen to my concerns & I'm only 43! His name is Dr. Jack Artinian at Royal Oak Beaumont and you usually don't have to wait to long to see him. I love him, he's a sweetheart!

Good luck,
D.

M.,

I can recommend Dr. Considine. She is part of the Troy Internal Medicine practice (www.troyinternalmedicine.com). She is all the things you mentioned: gentle, caring, but also straight forward. I've seen her for years and really like her. The office is very nice, it's a large practice, and when I am sick or having an issue, they always get me in right away. I have no complaints.

Yes there is many Docs at WBH. Some wonderful some not and some the patients love and the staff hate. You can go to the web page and get many names. The one and my personal fav is peter lipson. He is in southfield but at 12 and evergreen not far at all. Good luck. I know what it is like to take care of a parent.

i REALLY like dr weiermiller and dr bering - the are internal medicine and pediatric drs. Both good guys they are located at 15 mile and dequindre in sterling heights. There are only 2 docs in the practice the office is nver crowded and I can always get in if we are sick.

Dr. bering is more professional serious.. dr weiermiller ismore friendly and easy going.
