L.G.
I believe you may be talking about Dr. Stephen Cook. He is located on the SW corner of Trinity Mills and Midway roads in the North Dallas/Carrollton area. Their offices are in the corner of the shopping center near NickelMania. The doctor was trained in Chinese Holistic medicine. Two of my co-workers have been to him to treat things, such as hot flashes, acne, back pain and they've seen positive improvements. They tell me they meet people there from across the country that will drive to see him on a monthly basis to get their medicine for various illnesses/ailments (for example, weight loss, allergies, diabetes, anxiety, depression, etc...) What he does is meet with you for as long as you want or have the need to talk to him. He will do a quick check-up of your eyes & mouth and then he knows exactly what is wrong in your body. He seems to have a fifth sense about it. He will let you know what Chinese medicines to take that he provides in his clinic. You are under no obligation to buy everything he recommends. He doesn't provide quick cures. But over time, you see improvements and have to take less and less of the medicine.
He is closed on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. He is open all other days of the week. Usually opens around noon and stays open until late (until 9pm or until the last patient leaves). Sundays are his slower days and open 12-5. If you get in before the official door closing time, he will see you until everyone is gone. He doesn't charge a doctor visit fee, so you can see him for FREE and see what he says about you. My co-workers said they don't have an actual phone # but do have a fax that you can fax them questions to and they'll fax you back... Fax #: ###-###-####.. But be prepared to wait when you go. Because of the way he works (sees you as long as you want), they do not make advanced appts. You may be there anywhere between 1 hour to 5-6 hours depending on when you go (you should probably leave your kids with a babysitter). When you arrive, they can let you know how many people are ahead of you so you can decide if you want to stay. I've been there to pick up medicine for my co-workers since I live close in Carrollton, but I haven't personally been seen by the doctor so I can't vouch for what kind of "healing" abilities he has. Hope this helps!
