I know it may seems silly, but youtube.com has some great tutorials and if you're like me it's easier to watch someone do it than read a pattern.
Hello
I am crocheting hats and mittens and donating to giving organizations. I am looking for crochet patterns for slippers that are fairly easy and not elaborate in style to also donate.
Thank you

Cherl, I wish I had a pattern! I don't know where you live but I have hundreds of skeins of yarn, and would love to donate! e me back and we will work something out if you are interested!
Thanks K.
There are some great patterns to choose from here:

All of the patterns at Crochet Pattern Central are free too.
I also have had great luck with patterns from Lion Brand Yarn Site and you then can sign up for a free e-mail newsletter that has free patterns and also a stitch of the month for either knitting or crocheting.
Hi C., most yarn brands have patterns for free. I use Lion Brand. You could also type free crochet slipper pattern in a google search. Hope this helps, L. S.
I don't crochet, but my mother does. She just recently bought a book at Joann Fabrics that has a crochet pattern for slippers in it. It is a Learn How Book by Coats and Clark. The book number is 0101. It is a small book and the slipper pattern is on pages 42-44. I don't know if the pattern is simple or not because, as I said, I don't crochet myself. Hope this helps, if you haven't already found one.
