My family attend CrossTimbers Community Church. They have a Sat. night service and child care. You can check them out at crosstimberschurch.org
My husband and I live in Keller and are trying to find the right church for us. We would prefer a Saturday night service. We are kind of traditional and the big bands makes us a little uncomfortable (we don't mind music we just don't want to feel like we are at a rock concert). It would be a plus if they had childcare during the service as well. We are not too picky about the denomination. I have a methodist background and he has a baptist. Thanks for any suggestions.

My husband is from the South and hates big bands at church. He loves traditional music. We go to Cornerstone Baptist Church at Beach and Summerfields road. We have Sunday morning services with child care. It is really a great church. My 5 year old begs us to go to church. Very traditional church. call me is you have questions or would like to try it Sunday.

I attend Richland Hills Church of Christ in NRH (right off of 820 and Rufe Snow). They just started having a Saturday night service. I haven't attended on Sat. yet, but this is the one service that they have incorporated musical instruments. I don't think it is anything like a concert, but their singing is amazing and Rick Atchley is a wonderful preacher. It is a big church, but they have so much to offer. They do have childcare available from 6 weeks and up. I have started volunteering in the childcare area on Saturday nights and it is a lot of fun! I hope you are able to make it.
My family and I attend Richland Hills Church of Christ in N. Richland Hills. We have been going there for many years. They just started a Saturday night service and that is what we attend. I love it! The praise and worship is phenomenal! Very powerful! I don't consider it a rock concert. Keep in mind that traditionally Churches of Christ don't use instruments, so they are careful not to make it that way. Rick, the preacher, is fantastic. I highly recommend it. It's more like a Christian Church than a Church of Christ. They do offer childcare during service, but not class. We are a part of a small group that meets in a families house in Keller after the Saturday service. We would love to have you. There are several members who live in Keller.
Try it. I think you'll really like it.
Dear H.,
I want to invite you to my church. It is a nondenominational church. Most of us there are from a baptist background. We do have a band but we don't feel like we're at a rock concert. We do hymns and popular choruses. Our music leader is Kate Miner. You may have heard her on a radio station.
Our church is named Wellspring Church and we're located on the corner of Smithfield Road and Starnes in NRH, not far from Keller. We do not have a Saturday evening service but we have two Sunday services--9:00 and 11:00. And our children's and preschool areas are WONDERFUL!
On Sunday evenings we have Life Groups in homes. It allows us to use our spiritual gifts and to get to know others on a more intimate level.
Hope to see you there! If you'd like me to meet you before the service to walk in with you, I'd be happy to! You can just email me back if you'd like that.
Blessings,
A. S.
