Seeking Childcare in FW Area

I am a single mom to a 3-month-old boy and I am a second year law student in FW. I am desperatly looking for part-time care for my beautiful, well-behaved 3-month-old starting in late August (he'll be 4 months old then). Unfortunately the only prosepective childcare that I've currently found won't accept him part-time and I don't have the money for full-time care.

I need care on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8am - 5pm only.

Any ideas ladies? Thank you for any suggestions or recommendations you may have for me. It means a lot.

What can I do next?

I am a stay at home mom with two little boys. I currently watch two other little boys (I stop watching them August 10th), so I am looking to start watching a couple of kids. I have a lot of experience with children, I am CPR/first aid certified, I have taken child psychology courses and have been babysitting since I was 12! (I am now 26) I love babies and I have quality baby gear, including baby swing, bouncy seat, educational infant toys, etc. I live off of 820 and White Settlement, near the Chapel Creek area. Let me know if you might be interested!

I am sorry to hear you are having a hard time finding quality care. I am a Stay at home MOM, and understand how hard it is.
I do accept part time and work with families and there personal needs.

We are located in Arlington, but I have had other families come from Ft Worth area do ue to the high costs of child care.
It would take them about 15-20 minutes. We are just down from
I-20 and Cooper to Sublett. She loved how close we were to the hwy access.

Hi, I would like to recommend Primrose School, if there is one in your area. I currently have my 22 month-old in the Mansfield school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It costs $90 a week, and they're open 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The only drawback might be that you'll have to be on a waiting list. All three of my boys have attended a Primrose at one time or another, and they've each had to be on a waiting list for a while. I guess that's good, because the schools are so popular. I certainly have never had any complaints about them. Hope this helps! :0)

You can go to the website for the Texas department of children and family services and look at in-home daycare providers who are licensed. Many of them will quote you part-time rates. Ontop of that, you can go onto the website for the Texas department of public safety and for around $3.60, do a criminal background check on anyone you choose to watch your child. This has saved me just within the last month - the best money I've ever spent.
