Hi! My day care is closing effective this Friday (1/29/10) and I will need to find a new provider ASAP. Does anyone have any recommendations for either a day care center or day care home for my DD of almost 12 months? My husband and I travel along Rte. 88 for work and would like it conveniently located close to the highway. We are seeking care three days a week (M-W) and if it is a private home we would like the home to be licensed by DCFS. Thank you for your help!

I used to use Kiddie Kampus, I think that is the name. They are located on Diehl and Washington, you would get off at winfield and go east on Diehl just past Washington, it is on the North side of street, then you can go on to Naperville Rd to get back on 88. I used them for 3 yrs about 6 yrs ago and they were AWESOME. You can talk to Jackie.

The Child Care Resource and Referral at the YWCA of Glen Ellyn has a database of child care providers. If you tell them your requirements/criteria, they will search their database and giv eyou a listing of providers in your area. Their phone number is 630/790-3030 or 8137. Hope this helps.
I haven't used it myself, but Creme de la Creme is on Diehl road just off the Winfield Road exit of 88 in Naperville (2 miles east of Rt. 59.) They have an excellent reputation. Good luck!
