Good morning, Moms!
My daughter is getting married next month and is hesitant about her GYN appointment. She would like a female doctor. She lives in north Mesa but is willing to drive for the most comfortable experience.
Any recommendations and your experiences? Any ideas for me in helping her through the marriage/ sexual adjustment, etc.? They are both young and "virgins" (19-her, 23-him). They have been open and interested in the discussions we have already had on this subject.

Caring for Women - Dr MaryEllen Shannon --- You will have to wait but she is well worth it & any of her staff are wonderful.
I also go to Oasis OBGYN, as do seven other women I know. I delivered my second child with Dr. Messer, but have also seen two of her nurse practioners. I have never felt uncomfortable in their office and everyone is genuinely friendly. I feel like they really care about your well-being and show interest in your marriage, children, etc. Dr. Messer is Christian and her office reflects this. This year I changed dr. and I went to see Jocelyn DeWitt she is actually a Physician's Assistant and was great!!! They have several offices and I believe she works in each of them on different days. She is younger and is very nice and easy to talk to and answers any/all questions you have. She was also very through in getting all of my medical informaiton and was not rushed. I was very surprised how much time she took with me!

I absolutely LOVE my doctor at Oasis OB/GYN. There are several doctors there, but I had my 2nd child delivered by Dr. Shelley Messer. They are wonderful and all female! I know Dr. Messer is a Christian and would probably very sensitive to the needs of your daughter as she begins her new life with her soon-to-be husband. I think there number is 276-BORN, and they are on Brown between Power and Recker in North Mesa!

There is a beautiful, loving facility near Alma School and Baseline. It's called "Center for True Harmony Wellness & Medicine". I love Dr. Brass-Jones, she delivered my second child! Their office is very holistic, peaceful and friendly. I would check it out.

My daughter is pregnant and her OB is a very good doctor. Her office is on I am wanting to say Guadalupe and Gilbert. There is an Albertsons there on the southwest corner and it is the doctors office behind the albertsons. Send me a message back and let me know if this would help and I can give you more detail and the exact address and name of the doctor. I can't remember the doctors name right now. But I can ask my daughter. I have met the doctor and she is a very very good doctor.

i have a wonderful gyn who's office is on the 60 and dobson. she is a wonderful person, who was so helpful during my pregnancy. i started going to her on a recommendation from a friend, and she is great!!! her name is dr. lori carrillo. i have several friends who also go to her, and they love her too! if you would like more information, please contact me.
